Week Eight for the Two - Thanksgiving!

I can just feel how soft her little face and head are from just looking at the picture! I think this is also a great depiction of great a snuggler Celeste is, she just wants to nuzzle in and fall asleep with you!

For the sake of keeping record of our babies, here's Celeste with the hemangioma on the back of her head (it's a collection of red blood cells, usually fades over time) and her stork-bite on the back of her neck (that stork had a good grasp on her!).

Danny holding dad's finger. He's such a little Tiger, isn't he?

Attack of the giant socks! Celeste really likes tummy time.

I know I shouldn't post pictures of my babies when they're unhappy, but this one is too funny, especially with the shirt she's wearing.

Celeste and Danny on their playmat. This is the fun artsy setting from our camera. It took having these kids to start really learning all the fun things our camera can do (we've only had it for almost 2 years).

We managed to throw together a pretty nice Thanksgiving at our house. I have to say those babies were spoiled that day with all the love from our friends! Cooper got lots of love too! (I guess it's only fitting that the girls were gaga for babies and the boys were coco for cooper.)

Danny was lauging at dad trying to scare him. Celeste didn't even realize she was supposed to be scared of him. They were snuggliest bears I've ever seen!

Week Seven for the Two

Cousin Ella has decided that the babies are hers! When she's with them she NEVER wants to put them down. She learns so quickly how to help take care of the babies and wants to do everything for them. They are so lucky!
Uncle Ross, cousin Caleb and sleeping Danny. Caleb was so excited to hold Danny that his dad had to beg for a chance to hold him. Caleb was very upset but accepted that he could hold Danny again in 10 minutes. Every 2 minutes Caleb would come back asking how many minutes had passed. So sweet!

Cousins Ella & Caleb were great help with feeding time!

Cousin Carla was a huge help with pushing the bob, she's an excellent driver.

Week Six for the Two

The perspective shots are alway great. Danny's shirt, that was also great. He was our little lion with all his roaring and grunting when the ate.
I had to have a naked picture somewhere on here. This is for all you who needed proof we have a boy and a girl .

They are just so dang sweet!!!

Cooper was so generous to offer his hind legs to Celester for a nap. (No babies were eaten while taking this picture.)

Carla gets to help feed Celeste. (As a side note, notice the massive spit-up on my shoulder. The best part was that I had an ever bigger spit-up on my other shoulder!)

Rhett finally gets to meet Danny & Celeste. Ross gets another chance to cuddle on Danny.

Dr Kristy Michael - she was the best ob, even if she did spell her name wrong!

Week Five for the Two

We loved these outfits... her little built-in shoes and his feet - half duck, half cow. This is where the great, mythical moo-ack orignated. The moo-ack is fierce, yet affectionate - and spits up a whole lot.
I'm not really sure where to begin with this picture aside from Danny on the left and Celeste on the right...

Eric & Angela stop in for a visit and a cuddle.

Nesli left Dalya at home to come help mom & babies adjust to new life. She was a tremendous help!

Aunto Nesli with Danny, Mark, Aunt Rebecca, Uncle Casey with Celeste - the kids are going to have TONS of aunts and uncles in addition to their real aunts and uncles!

Week Four for the Two

My two babies. Danny and Celeste.
Does my face make these bottles look big?

or

Wickity-Wack on the west side! boyee.

This is how Danny drowns out the endless chit-chat of his parents while he sleeps.

This is how Celeste holds onto her "Hook 'Em Horns" while she sleeps.

Week Three for the Two

Three generations of Dammert.
Mimi and Celeste for the first time.

Papapa and Danny for the first time.

To see the two of them like this helps to explain how my stomach got so big!!!

I couldn't get a good pic of the wiggle worm Celeste, so I took a picture of the chicken instead...

Danny in the buff.

Week Two for the Two

Look at the size of those bottles!
Fun with babies... Poor Danny reminded us of Benjamin Button so much in those first couple of weeks. This spurned the brilliant idea for Mark to start a baby botox clinic. Any takers?

Honey and mom took the kids for their first walk around the neighborhood. I was excited because for the first time in almost six months I was allowed and able to walk around the block!

Mom giving Celeste her first bath at home. Some how this bathing experince doesn't compare to the warm and cozy womb.

Dad giving Danny his first bath at home. We've improved the bathing experience since then and now they love it!

As you can see, I put these two down for a nap. Celeste was on the pink and white cloth, Danny was on the green and white cloth... About 3 minutes later Celeste was also on the green and white cloth. You may also notice my little babies cuddled up forms a sweet little heart-shape.

Week one for the two

Babies heading home after 5 days in the nursery.
Mom, Dad, Son & Daughter - all healthy and so very, very happy!
Stephanie, Carla, Tom & Carlos were there to help welcome babies.
Presley, Caleb, Kara, Ross & Ella helped welcome Danny & Celeste.
Giddo & Honey were there, ready to take on feeding duty.

Rebecca came to visit. She couldn't wait to get her hands on the babes!

Grandaddy & Allie came to visit in the hospital. They finally got to see the fruits of all their hardwork helping me while I was on strict hospital bedrest.
Daniel and Christi. Bliss.
Mark and Celeste. Very quickly she got the nick-name "The Pirate" and "Ol' Stink Eye". Three months out she still gives us a hint of the pirate, but not like she used to!
